Happy Birthday Lexa!

What a busy and fun last few days we have had. Thursday was Lexa's birthday party at Ms. Gails house. She received so many wonderful presents and slept with every one of them that night. Thursday was also Lexa's last swim class for the summer and she is now a very confident swimmer. Friday was Lexa's last day at Ms. Gails. It was so hard to say goodbye, tears were definitely shed. Lexa, Ms. Gail, and all Lexa's friends spent the day doing all the fun things they usually do all throughout the week.
Grandma, Papa, and Sammi come to visit Friday night to continue the birthday celebration. On Saturday Grandma, Papa, Aunt Tracy, Uncle Eric, Riley, and Kyle joined us at Kings Dominion for the day where Lexa rode on a roller coaster, airplane, cars, swings, and more. She and Riley even rode on the Log Flume ride. We just had to purchase the picture from the ride because their faces were priceless, pure terror. They both loved it though and were ready to go again. We also spent some time at Water Works where Lexa and Riley swam in the Wave Pool. After Kings Dominion we came home for dinner, Birthday Cake, and presents. Lexa's favorite part was probably when we all sang Happy Birthday to her. Her face just lit up and she was so happy.
Sunday afternoon Riley, Kyle, and Aunt Tracy came back over for some play time since the girls did not have much time to play with all the new toys on Saturday.
Today was Lexa's first day at her new school. We brought cupcakes for everyone and they celebrated Lexa's birthday again. She received a gift from all the teachers and kisses from all her classmates. When Darcy went to pick her up (a little early since it was the first day), Lexa stated that she did not want to go home yet because she wanted to stay with her new friends. When she realized that she was going to come back tomorrow, she agreed to leave. You can't ask for a better reaction, we are so happy she likes it so much.
It is so hard to believe our little girl is already 4 years old. Time has gone by so fast. She really is becoming such a sweet and smart little lady with a wonderful sense of humor. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEXA!
We took lots and lots of pictures (okay so maybe we overdid it this time). These are the ones the made the cut for the blog. Enjoy.
