Awesome Weeney!

Since this upcoming weekend is a big one (Lexa's BIG 4th Birthday!), we decided to get in a quick blog with some pictures from over the weekend. We played on the swing set, rode the ATV, played soccer, and did lots of errands. Lexa made a few friends in her sandbox, see pictures below. She really has no fear.
This week Riley and Lexa are taking end-of-the-summer swim lessons to try to hone in on the progress they have made this summer, and it sure has paid off. Both Lexa and Riley are real swimmers now. They are both jumping off the side of the pool and swimming to the stairs without one little floaty device and no adult help. It has been amazing to see the progress they have made this summer. In a few weeks they are going to start soccer and we are so excited to see how they will do. We bought Lexa some new shin guards and a cute pink size 3 soccer ball this weekend and she has already started practicing. She seems to be a natural, probably because she has so much energy. Boy is she active! Sadly, this is Lexa's last week at Ms. Gails. We are so sad to have to leave her but it is time for Lexa to go to preschool. Lexa was actually going to start the new school at the beginning of the summer but we postponed to give Lexa more time with Ms. Gail and all her friends there, but it is now time to go. Ms. Gail has been such a positive and loving influence on Lexa and has taught her so much. We are really going to miss her. It will probably be harder on all us adults then it will be on Lexa. Lexa really has not thought much about leaving because this Thursday is her big birthday party at Ms. Gails house. She has watched all the other kids there have birthday parties all through the summer and her time has finally come. She is so excited!
