Daddy's Day

We are on a blogging roll now. Just posted last week and ready to post again! Not much new to report though. This past weekend was Father's Day and we celebrated the day with breakfast in bed for Daddy and then a trip to BeBe's house. It was a fun day of playing in the pool with the Surratt Family and then a delicious lasagna and stuffed shell lunch. Mikes gift to himself for father's day was a bursted (busted?, not exactly sure) ear drum, most likely caused by a restraint at work, so he was not able to go underwater but he enjoyed the pool anyway.

Lexa finally moved into a big bed this weekend too. Lexa is graciously giving her toddler bed (which also turns into a crib) to Christy and Tim's new baby. Since their baby is due in August, it was time for Lexa to move into a big bed so they can set up the crib for their new arrival. Lexa absolutely loves her new room and the first day she begged to go down for a nap.

Swim class was supposed to start yesterday but was canceled due to a thunderstorm. Class is scheduled all week in the evenings so cross your fingers that it does not storm every night.

Lexa's new bed, she was so anxious about taking a nap that

we did not get to finish filling up the shelves behind her.

Lexa's new room (yes the bedrooms in our house are very

very small and poor little Lexa actually has the smallest of

them all)
