Little Ghost

The past two weeks have been full of celebrations and visitors. About two weeks ago Shawn and Frankie spent the night so that Shawn could go to her first big interview. She nailed it and was offered the job today. Congratulations Shawn!

Last week Lexa stayed home from Ms. Gail's for a day with Daddy. The day was filled with lots of outdoor play and good treats. She has him wrapped around her little finger. Lexa also had two holiday parties at Ms. Gails house last week, one for St. Patricks Day and one for Easter. She also had a fun play date with Gabe and Emma at the playground and continues to enjoy her ballet and tap class with Riley.

This past weekend was full of birthday celebrations and, of course, Easter. Sammy, Grandma and Papa Lou spent the weekend with us and helped prepare for the big Easter Dinner at our house on Sunday. Bebe, Honor, Aunt Tracy, Uncle Eric, Riley, and Kyle also joined us on Easter Day. The Easter Egg Hunts were very exciting. There was one for the kids (filled with candy) and one for the adults (filled with money). Everyone was very happy with the results of the hunts.

Sunday night Brandi, Kevin, and Mitch came to visit and we celebrated Brandi's birthday and Easter again. Mitch and Lexa had a great time paying outside and riding the ATV. Mitch is absolutely fearless and this makes Lexa more venturous too.

Ms. Gail reports that Lexa has began to nap less and less at daycare. She has caught her several times running around the nap room with her white blanket on her head acting like a ghost and waking the other children up. She is always coming up with something new. Luckily she continues to nap at home, although they are getting shorter and shorter. We (meaning Mike and Darcy) are not ready to give up the nap yet.

Shawn, Lexa, and Frankie in the dog pen (it seems to be the favorite place for humans to play, not so much for the dogs)

Gabe, Lexa, and Emma ready to play at the playground.

Having so much fun!

Lexa and Riley waiting their turn. They are always the last in line for some reason.

Ready for the big Easter Egg Hunt

And they are off!

Lexa was pretty good at finding the eggs.

Darcy and Mike against Tracy and Eric during the adult Easter Egg Hunt. We could only pick up one egg at a time and then had to put it in the bag that each of our daughters were holding. Darcy had the great idea of draging Lexa along with her and Lexa did a great job keeping up.

Lexa's nephew, Mitch, chasing her on the ATV. Check out the look on her face. Oh, and check out the clothes, striped orange and black pants, leopard print jacket, and a pink t-shirt. Can you tell she dressed herself today?

Celebrating big sister Brandi's birthday.

Thanks for the bed Grandma and Papa. Sammy took it over when visiting, and now Cozmo finally gets to use it. Perfect size.

Darcy having fun with Lexa. Go Diego Go sure is hard to say, especially that first Go.
